Once we begin our sessions, we regularly review to make sure you feel you’re getting what you need. My priority is your wellbeing at all times. Building a basic foundation is important before exploring the harder stuff! To do the hard work effectively and safely, we need to establish a baseline first. Together we work on exploring your support system (including self-care practices and coping skills), identifying personal strength, goals, and dreams; working on emotional regulation, observing how emotions show up in your body, and understanding your window of tolerance. Through guided exploration and evidence-based techniques, I am here to support you in healing past wounds, breaking past cycles, embracing your authentic self, and navigating the journey from surviving through striving.

Registered Social Worker

I am a Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in art therapy, and am fluent in both Mandarin and English–sessions can be provided in both languages. Through an trauma-informed, intersectional, and client-centered approach, I support individuals navigating relationships, trauma, acculturation, self worth, anxiety, depression, life transitions, deeper understanding of themselves, and other therapeutic goals.

My intersections as a bi-cultural, Taiwanese, first-generation immigrant woman give me insight into how cultural factors influence personal, relational, intergenerational, and systemic aspects of the human experience. These identities and my lived experience equip me to work with an intersectional lens and help develop a deep understanding towards clients.

As someone who continues to navigate and heal through interpersonal, familial relationships and intergenerational trauma, especially within the context of transitioning between cultures, I understand the challenges and pain my clients may be experiencing. I see you and would like to invite you to reach out and see how I can best support you on your journey.
